Our History and Mission
Animal Lifeline Pittsburgh was established in 2017 to to provide assistance to at-risk and homeless pets within our community and beyond.
What began as a few people who shared a passion has become a organization that has helped 1000's of animals not just survive but thrive. We have provided over 400,000 lbs of food through our food bank for the community and for our local rescue partners.
As a 501c3 we pride ourselves on being 100% volunteer so that every dollar donated goes directly towards the needs of the rescue. This includes spays/neuters, emergency medical care, vaccines, dentals and abuse and neglect cases. Many with medical that will cost between $3000-$7000 each.

Animal Lifeline Pittsburgh continues to grow and expand our programs and we continue to be dedicated to developing solutions for at-risk pets through education, disaster mitigation, adoption and rescue support, transportation assistance, food and supply assistance and financial and in-kind support and adoptions.
